Ravensara Essential Oil

Ravensara Essential Oil (Ravensara aromatica), now botanically classified as Cryptocarya agathophylla, has a complex fresh, spicy and herbaceous aroma with woody, citrus-like and subtly liquorice undertones. In aromatherapy, ravensara is valued for its clarifying yet grounding character, helping to refresh a heavy atmosphere, clear mental fog and encourage emotional resilience during periods of uncertainty or change. True ravensara should not be confused with ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora), which is a different oil with a distinctly eucalyptus-like aroma and different chemical composition.
